The Valor Elite Youth Enrichment Foundation (VEYEF) is dedicated to transforming the lives of at-risk youth by providing a highly disciplined, safe, and professional learning environment. Our mission is to equip young individuals with the tools, mentorship, and skills necessary to become confident, capable, and valued members of society.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN #93-2378642), VEYEF focuses on leadership development, personal growth, and behavioral enrichment, fostering resilience, discipline, and responsibility in the next generation.
Valor Elite Youth Enrichment Foundation Proposal
The purpose of Valor Elite Youth Enrichment Foundation is to propel our youth to the greatness that is buried deep within them, fashioning a curriculum that would appeal to their curiosities, but adding value to themselves and the community. Most of our youth are faced with a limited resource environment that sparks interest in pursuing a work ethic that will bring stability to the region and foster a plan for success in life and generational success within their family, they are plagued by the entrapments of fast money, thoughtless and meaningless sex and the inability to function properly within an educational environment, we ask the question, How can we effectively combat these impulses mentally, emotionally and physically while holding their interests?
Well, VEYEF and the National Montford Point Marine Association has an answer to that, with the development of our Warrior, Scholar Gentleman (Lady) program and the inception of our P.I.L.O.T Initiative (Purpose In Lifting Our Talents), these programs will build self-awareness, cognitive learning awareness through apprenticeship, resources at their disposal for aftercare upon completion of program, educational credits for completion of diploma and college credits (depending on the field of apprenticeship they choose), an introductory course in IT/Cybersecurity for those that have an interest in the field, with a certification on completion of the twelve week course, assistance in entrepreneurship i.e. start of an LLC, S-Corp or Sole
Proprietorship. In this endeavor to add educational value to our nonprofit, we’re in the process of entering potential partnerships with apprenticeship schools, private schools that offer programs in which the students will have an interest, such as McAfee Institute, New Horizons Computer Learning Center, Coalition RCD, Nevada State Apprenticeship Program, just to name a few.
We’ve adopted the Warrior’s Ethos, the Scholar’s Integrity and Tenacity, as well
as the Office of a Gentleman/Lady and tailored it to resurrect chivalry in our young men
without embarrassment and ladylike behavior in our young ladies without judgment in
the age range of 15-17, once they finish the program, they can return to become a junior instructor to continue the legacy. In our cybersecurity program, we will introduce our students to various fields of IT security and management that will prepare them in their pursuit of a career in the cybersecurity job market. We have attached a cost effective estimation of the budget, that will hopefully assist with the advancement of our youth in this ever growing field of
cybersecurity.


Scholarship Program: The Warrior, Scholar, Gentleman/Lady Initiative
Our Warrior, Scholar, Gentleman/Lady Initiative is designed to support, educate, and develop youth into strong leaders through academic excellence, character development, and community engagement. This scholarship program empowers young men and women to pursue higher education, trade skills, and leadership opportunities while embodying the core values of discipline, integrity, and excellence.
Through mentorship, educational programs, and community outreach, we strive to create lasting change and brighter futures for youth in underserved communities.
12-Week Warrior, Scholar, Gentleman/Lady Initiative Program
Program Creed
At the beginning of every session, we recite the Warrior, Scholar, Gentleman/Lady Creed:

Program Structure Overview
Mondays: Orientation and introduction to weekly challenges designed to promote self-awareness, critical thinking, teamwork, and integrity.
Wednesdays: Mid-week progress reports with participants and parents in separate group discussions, followed by mass group discussion about family dynamics and weekly workshops. Accountability Buddy after-action reports.
Saturdays: Regimental focus and team-building exercises at designated areas. Parents transport them to and from the Real Talk building for learning and application sessions.
Special Considerations
• Behavior dossier required for each participant (school records, criminal record, extracurricular activities) to effectively gauge behavior and develop individualized approaches.
• Court-ordered participants receive weekly progress reports and meetings with parents, teachers, probation officers, and court attendance from program administrators.
Warrior Phase I (Weeks 1–4): Building Character and Foundation
Week 1: Warrior Mindset & Self-Respect
Monday: Introduction to the Warrior Mindset and "Warrior's Ethos." Discuss integrity, accountability, loyalty, vision, tenacity, and service. Assign "Accountability Buddies" (battle buddies).
Wednesday: Workshop on personal appearance and hygiene. Self-reflection exercise: "How do you view yourself?" Begin accountability check-ins with battle buddies.
Saturday: Amnesty Circle (30 min): Forgiveness and self-uplift (Romans 8:1). Journal reflection: "What does self-respect mean to me?"
Week 2: Accountability & Self-Awareness
Monday: Review Week 1 lessons (20 minutes). Introduction to shaving, grooming, and comprehensive self-care practices.
Wednesday: Workshop on integrity and accountability in daily life. Explore the difference between bravado and genuine confidence. Introduction to emotional intelligence concepts.
Saturday: Amnesty Circle. Journal reflection: "How did I demonstrate accountability this week?"
Week 3: Facing Challenges & Warrior Principles
Monday: "Earning the Logo" - What does it mean? Focus on self-encouragement and peer support systems.
Wednesday: Workshop on facing fears, embracing challenges, and building resilience. Introduce core warrior principles: honesty, comprehensive knowledge, intuitive judgment, attention to detail.
Saturday: Amnesty Circle. Journal reflection: "What challenge did I face this week and how did I respond?"
Week 4: Spartan Challenge & Rite of Passage
Monday: Preparation for Spartan Challenge. Deep dive into perseverance and commitment principles.
Wednesday: Spartan Challenge and Kems Games. Focus on teamwork, physical activity, and mental fortitude.
Saturday: Pugo sticks challenge and Rite of Passage Challenge. Warrior Phase completion certificates. Reflection: "What did I learn about myself during this phase?"
Scholar Phase II (Weeks 5–8): Cultivating Intellect and Curiosity
Week 5: Scholar Mindset & Empathy Development
Monday: Introduction to the Scholar phase and transition from "boy to warrior to scholar." Discuss characteristics of a scholar: sharp focus, inquiry, persistence, authority, immersion.
Wednesday: Strengths and weaknesses inventory with accountability buddy. Practice active listening and empathy. Introduction to Alexandre Dumas and The Count of Monte Cristo research project.
Saturday: Amnesty Circle. Journal reflection: "How did I support my accountability buddy this week?"
Week 6: Passion, Productivity & Research Excellence
Monday: Workshop on finding your passion and maintaining productivity. Explore ethics, loyalty, and competitive excellence.
Wednesday: Progress report on Alexandre Dumas and The Count of Monte Cristo research. Group project focuses on teamwork and communication skills.
Saturday: Conflict resolution role-play exercises. Amnesty Circle. Watch The Count of Monte Cristo film. Journal reflection: "What did I learn from my research or group work?"
Week 7: Learning from Stories & Character Analysis
Monday: Discuss The Count of Monte Cristo and identify scholar qualities demonstrated in the story.
Wednesday: Group discussion analyzing how characters demonstrate (or lack) emotional intelligence. Peer feedback sessions on personal growth.
Saturday: Amnesty Circle. Journal reflection: "Which scholar quality do I want to develop further?"
Week 8: Presentation & Scholar Recognition
Monday: Prepare and present research on Alexandre Dumas and The Count of Monte Cristo (2-minute presentations).
Wednesday: Group feedback sessions and celebration of academic achievements.
Saturday: Scholar Phase completion certificates. Journal reflection: "How has being a scholar changed me?"
Gentleman Phase III (Weeks 9–12): Practicing Respect and Leadership
Week 9: The Modern Gentleman & Respect
Monday: Introduction to Gentlemen phase Workshop on "20 Qualities that Make a Man a Gentleman" (Romans 12:1). Deep dive into respect and empathy.
Wednesday: Etiquette and social skills practice (handshake, eye contact, offering assistance). Introduction to A Knight's Tale film.
Saturday: Amnesty Circle. View A Knight's Tale movie and prepare for Monday discussion. Journal reflection: "How did I demonstrate respect and empathy this week?"
Week 10: Relationships & Communication Excellence
Monday: Workshop on healthy relationships and communication strategies. Discuss respectful behaviors toward women, utilizing lessons from A Knight's Tale.
Wednesday: Role-play exercises for respectful interactions and conflict navigation. Discuss the 10 Qualities of a Modern Gentleman: Generous, Positive, Lifelong Learner, Civil, Well-Mannered, Hard Worker, Sharp Appearance, Effective Communicator, Confident, Person of Integrity.
Saturday: Amnesty Circle. Journal reflection: "What communication skills did I improve this week?"
Week 11: Everyday Leadership & Integrity
Monday: Workshop on leadership in daily life (home, school, community). Review "10 Gentleman Rules for Everyday Life": clothes and appearance, manners, language, modesty, respect, loyalty, listening, financial responsibility, honesty, emotional openness.
Wednesday: Plan and execute a small community service project demonstrating leadership and service.
Saturday: Amnesty Circle. Journal reflection: "How did I lead with emotional intelligence this week?"
Week 12: Graduation and Celebration
Monday: Final presentations: "What I've learned and how I've grown" - comprehensive reflection on the 12-week journey.
Wednesday: Awards Ceremony presenting: Honor Gentleman, Distinguished Scholar, Warrior of Valor, and Battlefield Comrade awards.
Saturday: Commencement celebration with family and community. Write a letter to your future self. Surprise Celebration Outing!
